LaGrange Library, in partnership with Arlington Central School District Special Education PTA (ACSD SEPTA), presents a fun day of sensory art adventures. Classes will be led by Mary Wickham, LaGrange Library Youth Programmer. Mary has an MFA in Painting & Drawing with 15 years experience teaching art to children of all ages.
This series of classes will emphasize process and exploration and are designed for children with special needs, but registration is open to all students. All supplies will be provided with funds received through the Mid-Hudson Library System Outreach Mini Grant Program 2017. Please note that the classes will be held at Arlington High School, Room 2306.
In the Linoleum Block Printing Class students will create artwork using a printmaking technique where you carve an image in linoleum and use ink to create a print. For children in grades 7-12.
